Title: Down the Mountain Author: GW Katrina Rating: PG Warnings: Watch canon go wheeee~ off the cliff Word count: 432 Prompt: Feb 7-Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Angeal/Zack/Cloud: AU - If everything had gone right Summary: Zack was still confused what happened in the reactor.... A/N: *bows* My last late one. Sorry about anyone who was waiting for this.
Sephiroth was sleeping in the other room, and Zack ran a hand through his hair, feeling the muscles in his back still knotted up from the situation of the day.
Damn Genesis. The man had caused enough issues, and then he had to make matters even worse.
For a minute there, Zack had though the great General Sephiroth was going to lose it.
And that would have been a bad thing in the middle of the reactor.
But, after a few heart pounding moments, things had settled.
Watching Angeal chew out Genesis had been kinda funny, actually.
After a few minutes of watching Angeal call both of the older men by a variety of names, most of which Zack was taking gleeful note of, Genesis had withdrawn. Aka, ran off with his tail between his legs, and Sephiroth had just held his head for a few moments before dropping.
Angeal had made sure that Sephiroth was mostly okay, then hefted the other man over his shoulder and started back to town. The girl had been curious, and Zack had gone to help Cloud, who Genesis had decided to thump on the way in. At least the man hadn't thumped too hard, though the narrowing of Angeal's eyes said the man was going to be in for more than a few words next time they saw him.
Not that Zack blamed him. Their Cloud. Not someone Genesis could thump on.
Ignoring the girl's questions, the Shin-Ra group had made their way back to the inn, though there were a lot of stares and whispers about the unconscious Sephiroth over Angeal's shoulder. Serve Seph right. He'd been a dick there for a while when Angeal was working on infiltrating Genesis's group, and Zack hadn't fully forgiven him.
Now that Sephiroth was settled, Zack went to check on the others.
Cloud was with Angeal, the other having carefully check out the youngest of their group, and Zack had to pause, and smile. He was such a lucky bastard.
Apparently Angeal had decided on some, um, mouth-to-mouth first aid.
Not that Zack minded, and it didn't look like Cloud did either.
He still wasn't sure what had happened in the reactor, but he knew that Sephiroth would listen to Angeal more than anyone else on earth, and that everything would be fine once everyone had a chance to get some sleep, and the older two men had a chance to talk.
And between now and then, well, Zack had two incredibly hot people to snuggle with.
