Title: Toys

Word count:

Prompt:
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Angeal/Sephiroth/Genesis: autographs and action figures – When the children came up for autographs, it was really no surprise, but who authorized the action figures??
A/N: This was only a very vague idea when I read the prompt at the beginning of the month, but then

[info]megpie71's comment on the other fic for this prompt brought it roaring to life.  Also, if I had any pull with SE, we'd have Angeal and Genesis and Lazard figures.  Srsly.

Zack had been away on an extended mission, so he'd missed the initial release of the action figures. It wasn't until he was in the Sector Two toy store (no, not that one, the one with the trampolines and the costumes and the...no, not that one, the one for kids!) that he first saw them.

Angeal. Genesis. Sephiroth. All lined up neatly on hooks, next to an empty space that a slightly battered tag indicated was for the “Sephiroth with soft brushable hair!!!” model. Suppressing a shudder, Zack examined the remaining figures. They were very detailed, with buckles and shoulder guards and more buckles. The figures' mass produced faces did a remarkable job of capturing each SOLDIER's individual personality. Zack wondered if there had been modeling sessions involved. And if Lazard was still dealing with the D-587 (“SOLDIER related damages”) forms. Masamune, Rapier, and the Buster Sword were encased in blister pack next to each of their owners. Flipping the package over to check the back, a line of text caught his eye.

Highly poseable and able to assume almost any position!

Well....that just....hmm.....and...wow. Yes.

“Okay, one of each for three offices, three apartments, plus mine...” he muttered to himself as he started pulling packages off the shelf.

A/N: The line that gets Zack's attention is actually on SE figure packaging....

Kunsel was the one who emailed/texted him about the sets while he was away on mission. :D
