It had been agonizing for Ramirez to be in constant contact with Fina, but being unable to do anything about it. She had been responsible for the death of Galcian, not to mention himself. Seeing her dote over him was infuriating to him, but the slow, incredibly painful process Zelos was going through to rebuild his body preventing him from as much as talking.
That night, however, he felt tingly, as if his nerves had just been reactivated. His finger twitched as his eyes slowly opened, his entire body feeling like an asleep foot. He was literally on pins and needles, his jaw popping, and he couldn't feel anything at all. His finger twitched again, this time in Fina's hand, as he finally was able to move his head to look at her. "Mmmurgh" he murmured, trying to talk. "Ffff...." he tried again, determined to use this strength he suddenly had to try to communicate. "Ffff...ina." he managed that time, slipping his hand slowly out of hers. He couldn't quite sit up, but he was able to drag his defunct legs upwards, to try sitting.
