Summary: Mary and Sirius duel. With light sabres and words.
Mary looked surreptitiously around as she went down the train corridor and past the witch selling sweets. On impulse, she bought two licorice wands and a purple colour changing lolly before sliding the door open to the compartment second from the end. She'd seen it earlier when she'd been doing her first prefect patrol. She was wearing her robes and badge, which made her feel oddly proud at the same time she felt a little bitter that it was only because Lily was Head Girl. She hated being second best.
She saw Sirius wasn't there and she made a face. Typical. If he showed up with Potter and Pettigrew to have a laugh at her she'd be right wanked. Remus, at least, wouldn't do that to her.
So she sat down on one of the benches and pulled her light sabre out of her pocket. It elongated as she dipped it down, extending to full length. It was Muggle, of course, but she'd enchanted it so that it glowed red and made the swooshing noise when moved. Seriously. She was such a dork. Black would probably laugh his arse off.
