Who: Joe, Hilary and Anna When: New Years Afternoon, getting ready for the party tonight
Joe was hanging out in the cabin he was sharing with Anna and Hilary and a few others. Anna and Hilary. How had he gotten himself into this mess? Two girls he liked in one cabin, and tonight was New Years Eve and they both would be there. Should he give them both a kiss? Or neither of them. So, instead of skiing and boarding out with the rest of his classmates he was in his room drawing.
Hilary just got back in from Skiing and she walks in spots Joe. "Hey you hiding out?"
He nods, "Kind of yea." He looks up to see Hilary walk in and sighed. He couldn't avoid them both forever. "Are you having fun out there?"
She blinked. "Yeah kind of. Skiing is fun you should be out there yourself."
"I was for awhile yesterday. Actually all day yesterday. Just felt like chillin out today before the party." He shrugged.
She shrugged. "Oh alright. What are you drawing anyways?"
"Just some sketches of some of the people in our cabin. They were the first faces to pop into his head." He shrugged again. He had been drawing Anna and Hilary, but he couldn't tell her that. He wondered where Skandar or Sid were. He needed someones advice and he couldn't ask the two girls that he was having problems over.
"Well i'm sure they are wonderful." She smiled slightly. "I'll be quiet so not to disturb you." She walked over to her room and grabbed a book and started to read.
He looked across the hall into her room, and suddenly he wanted to be in there with her. It seemed like everyone on this trip had someone special with them, and he couldn't even decide between two perfectly sweet girls. "Hey Hil. Want to go grab some lunch?" He called across the hall, out of no where.
She looked up from her book. "Sure, why not."
He nodded, threw his sketch book on his bed and closed it so no one could see the sketches of the two girls. "Cool. Come on." He told her, grabbing his jacket from the closet in his room, and slipping it on.
She grabbed her jacket and followed him out of the door.
"Can you believe we go back to school in a few days. This break went so fast." He sighed. "Guess we need to make tonight even better, so we can have something to talk about all year." He flirts, casually.
She laughed and shook her head. "Yeah time flies when your having fun."
"Then tonight will probably go really fast. Do you have anyone special to kiss at midnight?" He asked curiously. Then he frowned. How could he ask that when he didn't even know who he wanted to kiss.
She shook her head, hoping that her face was not turning red. "Nope guys only notice me as friends you know that." She laughed slightly and wink at him.
"Maybe not all of them do." He winked at her. "You never know, right?" Maybe if he picked it up a bit more with them he could tell which one he wanted. And if all else failed he could do what his older brother did and date them both.
"You're right about that." She smiled. "So have you ran into Hayden lately?"
"Nope. Last I saw of her she was heading into the seniors cabin with Ryan." He laughed, knowingly. "Must be nice to have someone you want to spend all the time in the world with and alone." He looked at her, a weird expression on his face. A thought ful expression.
She smiled "Well they seem happy and that's always an plus, you know? I just wish i didn't feel like the third wheel around them." She sighed.
"Well, you can always come bug me if you want when their in you girls room. Not that you would be bugging me." He assured her.
She laughed "Ha! Thanks but I would be bugging you with you drawing and all your other firends stopping by."
"Nah, no one really stops by room, anyway. If I want to see people I tend to go by their rooms, so don't worry about it."
"Well yeah i need to get out myself so Hayden won't feel the need to ask me to tag along. so to speal." She made a face and then giggled.
He laughed. "My brothers keep telling me that, too. They tell me to get out and meet the hotties in my class." He sighed.
She laughed "Aww you can't have trouble with that. Don't they all queue up to talk to you." She winked.
"I wish." He admitted. "But even if they did, well, I won't just date anyone." He shrugged. "Some of those girls in our class are too easy for me."
She sighed and nodded. "Yeah i guess some of them are."
He nods. "But you aren't like that. I like that." He compliments her.
[I am on Pacific time and thought I would post this before I left for the evening. See you all tomorrow night and Happy New Year everyone!]
