You've heard stories of the man with a hook for a hand. You know him as Captain Hook. Bloodthirsty, greedy, and murderous, he's craved Peter Pan's head, along with the lives of the ragtag group of boys who swear allegiance to the Boy Who Never Grows Old.

Peter Pan might spin you that tale. But what of Hook's side? He might call into question Peter's role in child-taking. Does Peter rescue those that are Lost? Or is he bringing them to Neverland to play a part in the game set between himself and Hook? Pawns ready to fight and die for the sake of never-ending life or something much darker.

Which side will you play? Because things are never really as black and white as they seem.

  • You wake up sitting at the table. All around you the decadence of a very formal dining room in a very lavish estate. In your hand is a gleaming silver fork & the remnants of a bite of very expensive looking game fowl.
  • As your eyes re-focus on your world you realize that you aren't alone & that there are others sitting at the table with you. Others who are just now re-joining the world of the living from some sort of sleep-like state.
  • Who are they & why are you all dressed as if attending a black tie event? There is no music & the lighting is entirely comprised of maybe 100 candles in a beautiful crystal & silver chandelier hanging from the ceiling above.
  • You toss down your fork, forget the napkin on your lap, & start to get to your feet with a protest on your lips.
  • Which is when the scratchy recording of a voice begins to play from the victrola in the corner.
  • "Welcome to Dark House." It's neither male nor female sounding. Its androgyny leaving you very unsettled. "You are here for the party, as you can well see. But before you decide it's not for you, please be sure to note that just like that funny, old song says, 'You can check out any time you like. But you can NEVER leave.'"
  • The last words are a snarl & someone sitting at the table faints. You think that's the end of it & consider finding the door & proving the record wrong when it coughs back to life with one more thought.
  • "Oh & check your pockets, loves. That's all you've got to survive."

The premieres. The after-parties. The paparazzi. We see the pictures, we hear the gossip... but what really happens when the doors are locked, the guest list is exclusive and the cameras are off? For these people, life happens. Life... in the fast lane.

The Fast Lane is an original character, alternate universe RPG based on the current Hollywood scene. All of the characters and story lines are unique -- this is not a celebrity game! The Mad Witch Loki has escaped his punishment in the past, and made his way into the future - our present. Now, he plans to wage war against the Witch Queen of the Iron Forest - and he's building an army to make these ambitions a reality.

June 2012 proved to be a month of tragedy. Half-breeds are being killed, and pressure mounts to find the killer. Everyone is a potential recruitment. Every species is being put to the test. Factions are being made, alliances forged. The question is, when the time comes, whose side will you choose?
