No Harry Potter games

There wasn't really anything particularly special about that day. The people of Alicante got up like they always did, and went to bed that night. However, it wasn't until the dead of the night, that something happened. The night sky illuminated with bright pink lights, streaming into the windows of every Shadowhunter household.

Outside of the shadows of the city, a portal opened. And, not just any sort of portal. Out poured Shadowhunters and Downworlders from the year 2007. It doesn't happen often, but Magnus Bane made a huge mistake. For reasons unknown by the travelers, there was an interference from an external source - someone wanted them exactly where they were. In 1989. Two years before the Uprising. And, the worst part is no one was able to close it: Not Magnus, not The Clave or any other warlock. The group are stuck there until someone comes up with a solution. And, slowly, it's becoming more difficult with the influx of Shadowhunters and Downworlders pouring through the time rift from all different times and locations.

No one knew how, or why it happened. Not The Clave, not the Travelers, not even The Circle. Now, stuck in Idris in 1989, the "time travelers" must continue on with their lives as best as possible, until the time rift is fixed, and they're able to be sent home. There's just a few problems: Valentine's dying for information - did his plans succeed? There's also the problem about fate. The littlest information given to The Clave, the citizens of Idris could change the future in the most tiniest and dramatic ways.

Amor Fati is a alternative universe game based around Cassandra Clare's series "The Mortal Instruments." It's a multi-generation game, which means that it not only includes the characters we all know but it gives players the opportunity to play and explore characters we know little about - more specifically, members from The Circle. We give players the opportunity to explore canon characters, their relationships, and the possible consequences of the interaction of characters and families that were never meant to. Original characters welcome!
