Welcome to Asheville, North Carolina!

Asheville has been proclaimed to be a "New Age Mecca" as well as "the new freak capital of the US". Most people overlook these statements made by the media, because most of Asheville's residents live there because it was named one of the top seven places to live in the US, it's location in the mountains and surrounding areas is ideal, and life moves at a slower pace in the South.

Little do people know that the first two statements are true, and Asheville has been rumored to sport some serious supernatural activity.

For many years supernatural creatures of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds have been migrating to this city in the Blue Ridge Mountains. None of them can quite put their finger on why they are drawn there, but there is a pull that they just can't ignore. Perhaps it has something to do with the convergence of all these different supernaturals, or maybe something darker is brewing underneath the city of Asheville.

In the early 1980s a secret worldwide organization know as the Gardiner initiative began to work on a chemical compound to alter human genetics. Their goal? To allow humans to develop superpower abilities.

In 2008, they discovered a formula that would affect certain humans depending on their genetic structure. Once the Gardiner Initiative cut through the red tape of governments around the world they put this chemical compound into world water supplies.

In January 2010 stories began to surface around the world of people who could perform amazing feats such as fly, turn invisible, even read minds....

Dear Sir or Madam,

We'd like to thank you for your inquiry about Niihau School of Reform.

At this time we are accepting students, facility and others [police officers, company owners, employees who need that extra push, etc] for the following school year of '10 - '11 starting September first, 2010.

At this time our current students are enjoying their vacation here on the island and this is how:
  • they have proved that they are responsible and able to enjoy June/July/August enjoying the summer holidays around the island with friends and visiting family. Our security has happily taken the duty of making sure all is well and continues on as such, we also have many of our facility on standby.
  • they are enrolled in the summer school by choice or by need. We at Niihau want to provide our students, no matter the problem, with the best education we can. It speaks volumes when a student reaches out and asks for help or provides their help to a few towns person. We do not say no.
  • they are working. There are many job opportunities found on Niihau for students and those who are in search of helping our teens.
    • please note that if you decide to take a job on Niihau that you will be working with students who are unstable, mentally/psychically, and you will be asked that you not only respect but accept this. We at Niihau are a family whether there is hate or not.
  • extra help. Although we are a school we also provide help in the summer holidays for those who still need it.

ATTN: This game is fresh & new, which means there are tons of characters that have not been grabbed yet.  Don't let the bad reputation of the old Niihau persuade you not to join this one!  I and the other mod of Niihau had no part in the running of the last Niihau. We were both with in the game and never really had any problems with the old mods but we run things a bit different from how they did. We are fresh mods that are just  mods of the game. We have headmaster & headmistress accounts, which are there to make sure the IC rules are followed for the school and the OOC rules are followed for the game, but that's it. We do not and will not have characters within the game, that's for all you other people that you know are just dying to join. So cave into temptation and join.  I promise you won't regret it. :)


We will welcome back all old members and any new.
