With her introduction, she may as well of said it in her own language, for as much as it meant to Setzer. Given that he'd been in possession of his airship even before he joined Gestahl's army, he'd seen the entirety of the world, and nowhere had he ever heard of a 'Japan'. Her own name was quite unusual, as well. He just sort of looked her up and down there, before deciding this more than likely was no trick on her part. What was strangest of all was that he couldn't recall the last time anyone had so formally introduced themselves to him. People behaved that way, occasionally, around the generals, but Setzer only saw the same soldiers, month in and month out, and talked little to none with them, subtract for during a gambling night now and then.
"Never heard of it. I'm-- Vector's airship fleet commander." It was awkward, for a man who'd been addressed as 'infamous' hardly half an hour ago, to return the introduction. In another scenario, he may of said it much differently, but he was considerably distracted at the moment. Even if she was from, perhaps, some really out of the way island, he didn't assume there was anyone who didn't know what Vector was, nowhere in the world could of been free of knowing that name. "And I'm gonna be in a hell of a lot of trouble if I don't figure out where this is soon," he said, mostly to himself, as he'd started to turn away from her at this point. He didn't sound worried, just still at that loss. She'd proven herself to be no help to him, so he'd be on his way now. He wondered if anyone would go for this story about having just--disappeared from where he'd been, and appeared somewhere else entirely, if he said that was why he'd suddenly been missing from his post. Drinking on the job (again), he was sure that's how that would be taken. With a shake of his head, he started heading the other way. Having also observed it wouldn't be too long until night-- although, used to being out in the darker hours of the night, so not exactly concerned about that either-- he realized he should start looking for some better landmarks. "Yeah. I'm going to go do that." Once again, he wasn't as much saying it to her, as he was just clarifying his own thought process to himself.
He didn't seem to think to say goodbye, or thanks, or ask her if she wanted any help; none of those things occurred to him to say.
