There's no possible way this is Japan, Kira thought to herself as she shielded her eyes and looked out towards the horizon line. But how did I even get here?! The young girl was engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't realize there was someone else behind her until the unfamiliar voice caused her to jump. "Oh!" Her dark eyes widened slightly at first, as she spun around to meet the person face to face, but as soon as she did so, a loud shriek escaped her lips.
Immediately Kira cupped her hands over her mouth, though her eyes remained wide as she took in the image of the man before her. The fact that her actions were incredibly rude weren't even able to cross her mind as she gawked at his appearance: scars covering his face and his body, and even that portion of him was covered in blood. Fresh blood. Kira felt weak in the knees as she watched him, petrified, and when he addressed her in a language she didn't understand, felt herself shrink back.
For Kira, the girl who was slowly beginning to recover from the trauma in her past, by forging new friendships and discovering that it was possible to trust certain men, this was quite a step back, and she felt herself shaking like a leaf when confronted with a potentially serious situation. Her heart raced in her chest as she felt a wave of adrenaline flow through her veins, and for a moment she was able to think clearly; rationally.
Had he spoke in English? Did that mean he was a foreigner? Though it made little sense, was it possible that she had someone found her way to an English speaking country like England or even America? Her thoughts racing, the first thing that materialized in her thoughts was an after school special she had seen on TV. "N...no! Please! Please spare me my life!" She shouted in heavily accented English, backing up as she held up her hands. "Please spare me my life! Jesus! God! ...Christ!"
Tears stung her eyes as she realized the danger she was in, here in this strange place, and with this man. "Help! Help me!"
