Account Codes

Account codes are now required on InsaneJournal. They can be given as gifts from existing accounts (http://www.insanejournal.com/invite/) or you can purchase one by buying a paid account for an email address (which will allow you to create an account AND become a paid member).

If you want to generate new account codes, visit http://www.insanejournal.com/invite/ . Please report any bugs with the invite code system ASAP and we will resolve them asap.

  Hey, Squeaky-- a bug I've noticed in the last couple of days: redirects from renames are now broken. Usernames that redirected from the old journal to the new are now reading as deleted/purged. Not opening a support ticket, as none of mine are affected, but thought you'd like to know!

    I can confirm that's been happening as at least 4 of my renames/accounts have had that happen.

      Same here, it just happened to some of mine that were validated and all up to date, two of them recently used, today. It tried to delete two others this morning, but apparently I caught it in time? (Hence how I also figured out that some of my others are just gone.) The others stand no chance, as all are claiming 'deleted and purged'.

        I put in a support request about it, and my deleted/purged ones were fixed today. You may want to try that if you haven't already.

          Thanks! I ended up PMing squeaky shortly after replying to your comment, and he helped me out with rename tokens.
