To keep everyone up to date, we are back online now (obviously). We had an issue with the settings on our userpic server, I was trying to speed up replication and went too far. I had to reboot the server. After rebooting, the server would no longer see the network cards. This caused the site to go offline.

After working with the hosting company for the past 3 hours we finally have the issue resolved and the site is back online. We are extremely sorry for this and all the other recent issues.

    Are the icons being backed up right now? None of them seem to be loading anywhere that I look, and I've tried restarting my computer just to make sure it wasn't me. Hoping that's all that's going on.

      Everything is fine. We had to do emergency maintenance on the userpic servers.
