To keep everyone up to date, we are back online now (obviously). We had an issue with the settings on our userpic server, I was trying to speed up replication and went too far. I had to reboot the server. After rebooting, the server would no longer see the network cards. This caused the site to go offline.

After working with the hosting company for the past 3 hours we finally have the issue resolved and the site is back online. We are extremely sorry for this and all the other recent issues.

  I was just wondering if you knew of the support issue where I can't login to any journal over a 3G or 4g connection on my iPhone. it will work while connected to wifi, but when I try to login when I'm not connected, it acts as though I hadn't logged in at all and sends me back to the homepage. this has been going on for 3+ weeks now. thanks!

    This may be an issue with your wireless provider. We are unable to duplicate this behavior.

    Do you happen to be on AT&T? If so, I have the same problem. It'll act like it's logged in, but it simply just goes back to the main page with nothing logged in.

    I have also had this problem with AT&T before, although not on an iPhone. I'm not sure what causes it.

    I have AT&T but don't have this issue. It does go back to the main page but when I refresh, I'm logged in.
