Username Purge (an update)

This is going to take probable 3-4 weeks to get all of the inactive accounts as there are a lot of them and I don't want to kill the servers doing this.

As always you can see what usernames are available here.

  Except plenty of us are worried not about our own accounts, but about losing content created by other people who have moved on, content which adds value for us as current, active users.

    how about copy it and repost it somewhere else yourself, on a site that won't delete journals for inactivity? make it clear it's a memorial. how has no one thought of this yet?

      Easier to do if the deletions are announced ahead of time, rather than after the fact.
