We have been performing database maintenance all day on InsaneJournal. This is now completed. We are hoping that this will help resolve the performance issues we have been seeing in the evenings.

If you have been trying to access IJ and did not know why it was down then you should "Like" us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter so you can get notices when the site is inaccessable.

  Squeaky, I'm from the UK and have been totally unable to access IJ for the past hour. According to the trace route I ran, it is a problem at the servers at your end. Works on my phone, but can't log in. Help?! Time out problem with the servers.

    I just got a notification that our hosting provider is having routing issues. It should be fixed tonight.
