We have decided on a site monitoring company and we are rolling it out ASAP. This will give me an alert if the site is unresponsive 24/7.

To help pay for this we are running a small sale on the site for the next week.

1 year Self-Committed[paid] accounts for $25 $20
Rename tokens for $5 $4

Thank you to everyone for continuing to support the site. And we do apologize for the issue last weekend and want to ensure an outage like this never happens again.

    Related to the rename token sale, I'm curious about something. You mentioned that you might be doing another inactive account purge. Do you have any idea when that might be happening, or is it still just in the idea stage?

    So I just heard about this downtime 'cos I'm so up on recent news like that, and I have to say that I'm sorry for all the grief you must've got from the psychos.

    On the upside, the ridiculousness of the whole thing inspired some creativity in me. Hope that makes you smile. (:

    Also, I will def' be buying when I get paid. 'Cos while I might not be here 24/7, I do quite like this site~

    So I bought a six-month paid account (for a different journal) just a day before you announced the sale. If I were to pay the extra money (five bucks), would it be possible to switch my six-month paid account to a one year paid account?

    Hey up, just to let you know: email posts haven't been showing since approximately October 4th, although potentially earlier than that (I don't email in posts over the weekend!). The last one of mine came through on September 30th.

    Leaving a comment here for a friend, who keeps getting distracted: the user [info]lulu_chan keeps spamming his journal and comments he makes at other journals/communities, every couple of days, with comments of random text in Japanese. And this is still happening after he banned her.
