Miswording in notification emails

To anyone who received a notification that their account had been deactivated, we misworded the email stating that your account had been inactive for 2 years. In reality we used the date 01-01-2008 as our cut off point for inactivity. We apologize of the inconvenience.

  My last post was April 11, 2008, yet I got a deactivation notice.

    And my account is a permanent paid one. Deleting "permanent" accounts is just wrong.

      We didn't delete any permanent or paid accounts. Read the notice more carefully, it was probably for a different account registered under your email address.

        Maybe it was for the "filk" asylum and I got confused. That hasn't had any posts since 2007.
