Firefox and the rich text editor

Mozilla recently release a security update to 2.0 version of firefox. This version, 2.0.0.17, causes issues with our Rich Text Editor and therefore breaks the update page. Until we can come up with a resolution for this, either upgrade firefox to 2.5 or 3.0, or use a different browser. You can also use the mobile update page at http://www.insanejournal.com/mobile/post.bml

  Word from LJ is that they're developing a fix, should be available in the next code release.
  
  They can also use the HTML editor... that's probably a little more convenient than the mobile posting page.

    That one's broken too, at least for me. Thanks again to Squeaky for hooking us up with the mobile form. I wish there were a way to revert to 2.0.0.16. *sigh*

        I personally had a bunch of problems with FF3 when I first got it months ago, and had to revert to an older version. Plus I'm just more comfortable in my old shoes you know? The OP might feel similarly.

        I hadn't gotten around to upgrading yet. In fact, I was gonna try to run them both side to side, just in case 3.0 tanked. I'm always slow to upgrade stuff, which is why I'm still running XP, and will probably skip Vista altogether. :) Thanks for the info that LJ's working on a fix.

          I agree. I'm still on XP as well. I rarely upgrade. My motto is if it's working fine for me, why change unless I have to?
