Yesterday morning the site was running slow and timing out. This was due to a webserver that needed to be repaired. That was fixed at about 1:00PM Eastern. This morning I woke up to find that the userpic server was offline. That was a simple restart and now all your userpics are available again.

  I was thinking it was an IE7 issue, since I was still seeing the pics in FF (forgot they'd be cached.) So I upgraded to IE8, and now I can actually upload icons in IE again, yay!

    Really? That's good news. Once IE8 comes out of beta maybe we can reccomend that for our users!

      You may want to hold off on that. Although now my userpic loading works, I can no longer post from IE. The scroll bar on the post is pushed all the way over to the left, and the space to type in is no bigger than one character size.
      
      The strange thing is that posting was working fine the first day after I downloaded IE8, but the second day it stopped working. Boo.
