I have been working on doing some database optimizations to see if it will help with the "Comment Rot" problem. It seems that during this, some information that was cached in the database was lost including journal layouts and profile information. If you find this information is missing, you will need to reupload it.

We have not lost any entries or icons. Also please be aware that the comment loss is still our number one priority. We have some cool things coming once we solve this major issue.

  Exactly. It seems like a diversion tactic to me and I'm not buying it.

    Even if squeaky were to have different priorities than you or I might have -- and I'm not saying he does -- that doesn't make it a "diversion tactic." I've never known anyone more open and forthcoming than squeaky about the status of the site and everything on it.

    i doubt squeaky is even trying to turn this into another greatestjournal. i'm sure the shitty things will be fixed before the cool things come along, so don't just assume things.
