I have completed moving all of the users to the new database. This means that site performance should begin to pick up.

I am still looking into the errors you are getting while commenting. If you see an error that shows that the database is unavilable when commenting, your comment has, most likely, been posted even though you see the error.

If you are still getting an error that says your journal is in read only mode, please let me know. Also if the error is only happening when posting to an asylum, please let me know what asylum.

Edit: I think I tracked down the "Database not available" error. It had to do with subscriptions. So to resolve this, I temporarily had to run them off. I will look into it more tomorrow evening. Please let me know if you are still seeing these errors on the site.

      I will have more info on icons once the move is 100% completed and the site is stable. i am still moving databases and webservers from the old provider to the new provider.

    That icon switching thing happened to this journal too. They got sent to idle_montague instead.

    I had to reupload 3 times before they all uploaded correctly.

    I'm getting 500 Internal Server Error messages when I try to move back to older asylum entries.

    Like a few people have mentioned, I'm getting an Internal Server Error 500 when trying to view my friends pages and sometimes, my own journal. D:

    I, too, am getting "500 internal server errors" all over the place. I get them if I try to look at any of my journals, their friends pages, or most asylums, but I can see the main page, [info]news, [info]announcements, userinfos, and some entries just fine.

    [info]amor_remanet, [info]culling, [info]loudmouthprat, [info]beyondsunset, [info]wiginabox, and [info]rearranginghell are all definitely affected by this.

    Just commenting to say that I've had the icons change happening to me all throughout the day, after my journal went into read only mode around 2 PM and came out of it at 3 PM. I'm also getting the internal errors while trying to view journals or asylums.

    Yes, I have been getting the same errors. Friends page and my asylums but my icons seem to be loading okay so far. Would just like to know if this is being worked on and when we can expect it to be fixed. Thanks!

    I, too, am getting the 'internal server error' page whenever I try to view my friends page. Several others I know are also getting this error. I'm having no trouble (so far) viewing the communities directly.

    Also, a few others are having trouble getting the main page to load. They said when they first go to the site, they only have the log-in boxes available and everything else is blank. Once they log in, they are either getting a blank page indefinitely, or it is taking up to fifteen minutes (if not more) for just one ad to load, and then that's all that will load.

    Plus there's the icon issue, but clearly you've already been informed about that.

    If you need any further information (such as specific usernames, etc.) please let me know and I'll help however I can!

    Erm, not to complain BUT...

    ... Is it natural that some icons have broken? Not all of mine are affected, but a handful aren't showing.

    Hi Squeaky, I know you are really busy, but I just wanted to let you know that while checking my friends page my entire layout converted over to Generator. My default layout is Bloggish I got bloggish back but now I can't reload my header When I try to put the css code in I keep getting this error message.

    While commenting:

    Error running style: Died in S2::run_code running EntryPage::print(): Excessive recursion detected and stopped.

    This is afirst for me, happening well past the move etc, just now on May 13th.
