More servers coming

With the issues continuing at the other sites we are seeing another surge in site usage. To combat this, I have just ordered another database server and another web server. Its going to take me awhile to get the new servers up and running, so please bear with us over the next day or two if the site is slow during the peak evening hours.

Edit: The new webserver is online. Still working on the database. It will take awhile because we are building it out as a new user cluster. And we are going to migrate 33% of the current users over to it.

Also, to help offset the costs we are incurring in getting these new servers set up, we are going to hold another Insane Userpics sale. We will be offering Insane Userpics. We are going to be offering this item at a higher price than the last time it was available. For the next 2 weeks, this item will be available for $150. This will give you 5,000 userpics for the life of your account.

This item will be on sale for only 2 weeks, and this is the last time in the foreseeable future that we are going to offer this item.

  Is there any chance we could get smaller sized icon add-ons? I wouldn't mind paying a higher cost ratio (like $10-15 for another 200ish) - I would like to give you guys money! This site is fantastic... and probably the only site I've ever paid for.

    I agree! There is no reason for any account to have 5,000 icons because there is just no way that it could be used or functional. I personally would love the ability to have more userpics at several different accounts so I wouldn't mind paying $10 per journal to up the icon count to like 200 or 250 :)

    Fantastic idea, as usual! I probably COULD use the 5,000, but just a bonus 200 would be amazing. If it's possible, of course.

    Gods, yes! This is completely out of my price range, but have no problem paying something for more. Can't there be something between 500 and 5000, even if we have to pay for it yearly?
