For those of you that use GreatestJournal, we just want you to know that they are back up and accepting accounts again. We hope that you have enjoyed your stay here, and I want you to know that you are welcome to stay if that's what you wish.

If you are going to stay, I want to announce that we are still going to continue with the server upgrade as soon as the new server is ready to go. I am still waiting on my hosting company to hand the server over to me, then it's a few hours of work for me to get it ready to host IJ. We hope to be able to turn the new faster server online either tonight or tomorrow night.

  There's been alot of talk about wanting new and visually appealing layouts/skins. squeaky said some sort of layout contest will probably happen after he gets some other stuff fixed (around the beginning of Jan. 08 possibly?). He's directing anyone with ideas to feel free to post them to ideas.

    Oh my gosh thank you so much for giving me that info! I should have known that there was already something in the works because everyone here seems to be so on top of things. You're awesome, thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

      I used to think that the design of the site was actually good ... hehe shows how good my design skills are. Sure I can run the code and the server like a champ, just don't ask me to do anything visual .. hehe

        I've come to realize that some people just have an eye for it. Like sometimes I think my graphics look okay but then I see the things my friends make and I'm like "damn, I know nothing." Anyway thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I'm spreading the word around to my graphically inclined friends who are setting up camp over here as well. You're awesome.
