For those of you that use GreatestJournal, we just want you to know that they are back up and accepting accounts again. We hope that you have enjoyed your stay here, and I want you to know that you are welcome to stay if that's what you wish.

If you are going to stay, I want to announce that we are still going to continue with the server upgrade as soon as the new server is ready to go. I am still waiting on my hosting company to hand the server over to me, then it's a few hours of work for me to get it ready to host IJ. We hope to be able to turn the new faster server online either tonight or tomorrow night.
  • i think i'm going to stay here... it looks pretty cool!

it's actually my Plan B journal, when things break.

and since i'm new here - where can i find out how to get my entry pages to look like my main page? can you do that with a free account?

    thanks!
    • Hmm, you should be able to... it might be in the customisation page, but I can't remember off the top of my head, sorry. >.>
      • it is: it's something like "disable custom comment pages" - and it's set to no... so i think [info]qem_chibati (below) is right....
    • Sorry! I don't believe it's enabled for free accounts, it is however possible to have your comment pages look like the main part of your journal with a paid account.

Have you tried looking through the site options to find a default layout that works for you?
      • yeah, i think you're right about it being available for the paid account - the "disable custom comment pages" is set to no, so it should do it, but it doesn't.

i actually have a page from one of the comms/asylums that tells you how to make flexi squares available - that's what my LJ is, and i really like all my customizations i made to it. :D

        thanks!
    • This post by [info]mllesatine has info on how to do a lot of things. Some of it even works on free accounts, like changing the site scheme.
