Okay,

We shut off the new server as I found that there were some incompatibilities with different versions of the libraries that were causing problems. We are going to work over the next day or two to fix these and get the new server up and running. For now, we figure that a site that is running a little slow during peak times is better than one with errors all over the place. Please report any errors you are still seeing in this post.

  That's an issue with Firefox. You have your username and password "remembered" by the browser, so when you load the update page it sees the "username" and "password" options under "post as another user" and automatically fills them out. When they're filled out, "post as another user" is automatically selected, so the form thinks you're posting as someone else and therefore you can't access your icons. You have to take your username and password out of the password memory thingie in the browser, or use a downloadable client to update.
