The site was down for a few minutes this evening. I noticed some slowness due to the growth, so I brought a second webserver online. I also took that opportunity to perform some database maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this should help the site run faster and more reliably than ever.

Also, in the future, if you ever want an update to the site if it's not working, we post all known outages over at our twitter page. http://www.twitter.com/insanejournal

  SQUEAKY!! Please help me!!! I can't view my own journal, I got a 500 error!

      No, it's still a 500 error. Here's what it says:
      
      Internal Server Error
      The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
      Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@insanejournal.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
      
      More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
      
      
      Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

          Now my colors are messed up. I went to fix them back to what they were, and I got this:

    Yours is fixed. Let me know if your colors or overrides are messed up
