Site down overnight

We are aware of the issues with the site being down from around midnight to 4am the past 3 nights. It seems we have gotten yet another mass influx of users. We will have the issues resolved by tomorrow night at the latest.

Thanks you for your patience and understanding while we work to upgrade the hardware here at InsaneJournal.

  I just wanted to say you're brilliant. You tell us about planned maintenance when the site might be down days ahead of time and then when the site does go down unexpectedly you tell us you're aware of the problem and that you're working on it within roughly four hours of the site coming back up. Thankyou so much for keeping us informed.

    You're welcome. I actually fell bad that I didn't know about the problem earlier to have it resolved before now.

      Well, midnight to four most people would be in bed. Even UK users (such as me) would have to be up relatively early (we're five hours ahead of Eastern so roughly 5am til 9am for us) for it to have affected us. I only noticed this morning because I started work at 6.
