Update on SSL

Previous Entry Add to Memories Tell a Friend Next Entry
The update to SSL has caused some layouts to have errors.

The issue is most browsers won't load HTTP content from an HTTPS site. If you have custom layers or are using custom CSS that is loaded from off site, or loads images or other content from off site, your problem lies there. You'll need to update your custom code to change any URLs from http:// to https://

If you are having trouble hosting on a secure site, please let me know and I'll see what I can do to assist.
  • I'm still having the cookie problem on this journal. Not only does it lose cookies on Avast's browser, but now it's happening on Chrome as well.
    • Is it only on your mod pages? I had issues with mine (not being able to mass delete hold comments, myself and another player got the login cookie issue on the holds and application page). I made a new page (just copy and pasted over all the html from the first one) and have had some people poking at it and everything seems to be working fine there including the deleting. Maybe try that if it's only on those mod page entries you're running into the issue?
      • Yeah, when I try to reply to people in my drop box or comment the welcome link to an application it'll do the cookie thing. Those had been the only problems until last night. When I tried to unscreen two apps, it lost cookies again. I will definitely try your suggestion. Thanks!
