I have MORE friends for you!
First is this guy, Oliver Queen, or Green Arrow, but from the DC Icons book series, which is a bit different. Ollie is 17, not a contemporary of Bruce Wayne, who is from the previous generation of heroes, and kind of dead as of the novel he starts in. Ollie is coming from a Gotham that has just been rescued from the hands of the Court of Owls, who, in universe, are an oppressive dystopian totalitarian group who oppressed Gotham, especially the women. Ollie helped his new girlfriend, Dinah Lance, who had just become Black Canary, to do this, along with some help fromOracle, and some others of the previous generation. He picked up his Green Arrow skills when his father sent him to play survivor on a deserted island, and put them to good use as a superhero. His parents died because of the court of owls, and he found himself shipped from Star City, this time in California(baseline DC canon seems to have based it on a flipped map of Chicago...why do I know this?) to Gotham to live with his uncle until he’s 18 and can inherit the family fortune. His dad started as a standard rich asshole and seems to have softened before his death, but it’s a thing working against his reputation.. . Ollie loves music, and isn’t afraid to ruffle feathers or do the right thing, and doesn’t mind subterfuge to get it done. He’s not 18 so I’m up for finding him a guardian if anyone wants to do that.
I’m also bringing Mr. Peanut Butter, a character from the amazing Netflix series Bojack Horseman. Mr. PB is a Hollywood (“Hollywoo”, long story) celebrity, who became popular in the 90’s as the star of Mr. Peanut Butter’s house, a series about a dog raising two teenage human twins, the rival series to Horsin’ Around, which starred Bojack Horseman, as a horse raising three human orphans. He’s a bubbly, cheerful, happy go lucky guy, who has a generally positive attitude because he’s realized life is all a big distraction from death. He can be infuriatingly naive, but tries to do the right thing and make people happy. He’s most recently started in a series called Birthday Dad, based on a greeting card, hosted a popular celebrity game show, and been involved in several antics, like running for mayor of California, backing the various business ventures of Todd, a well meaning seemingly wise fool, and trying to help his “friend” Bojack with his messed up life. He has three divorces and one serious breakup in his future, tends to be a bit hyper and immature but is genuinely a Good Boy. He’s a typical Labrador, in other words, and yes, being a human is going to throw him for a loop. He’ll probably try to make friends soon!
I’m up for anything with them so hit me up!
