Locked from Aedan
He's shoplifted again, my idiot husband. A sgian dubh from one of the museum gift shops, a kilt pin from a place up near Loch Lomond... And stole an antique hand mirror from the hotel room that he had to sneak back in to return. To be fair, he snuck back and put back all of the ill gotten gains, but...still.
With Aedan, stealing's a sign he's anxious about something. I should be encouraging him to call the therapist, no?
The rest of our trip, of our life so far's been AMAZING though. My wedding present to him should arrive later this week-end and for me he's built a mews on our property and gotten me a Peregrine Falcon and for himself a Kestrel Hawk that I'm officially the owner of, due to the rules about owning them and training (Smoke is an exception since he was injured at the time). There's a famous medieval text, the Boke of Saint Albans that has a passage. you see...
An Eagle for an Emperor, a Gyrfalcon for a King; a Peregrine for a Prince, a Saker for a Knight, a Merlin for a Lady; a Goshawk for a Yeoman, a Sparrowhawk for a Priest, a Musket for a Holy water Clerk, a Kestrel for a Knave.
If he didn't seem a bit nervous, I'd be completely happy and I'm very near there already. Any ideas to help this man of mine?
