[Sebastian / Noah shopping for dinner]
Meghan would grant the second one, certainly.
"Well, aye, that's true about children." Meghan nods. "Plenty of templars who chose not to have them in service, chantry sisters...Mistress Rhona had none herself, come to that. I'd agree that's nothing to do with value. And wanting's not even all of it, though you SHOULD likely want them if you're choosing that. You've got to be able to care for children, after all, and even when some have the money or the time and environment and want it, there's other reasons they may not be suited." There were always a few stories from her village and a few others where you worried, but couldn't do much about it either.
"So I am." She nods. "I guess the alive part WAS a bit of a shock to those of you who also got through that mess." She glances at Sebastian, and then shrugs a little.
"I suppose that was just you, so...to those who died in it as well." Not that she likes to think about it often still, and there's people that she'd have liked to have had be found alive if she was, but sometimes when you see things for yourself, you can't quite hope they'll be reversed. You can DREAM, maybe, but there's nothing that'll work for some.
"But with no job...how does someone..." She shakes her head. "It's still confusing, about this world. How someone is anything without that..." It's honestly really confusing actually.
