"You okay?" Axel asked the blond. Roxas smiled, but the redhead saw it falter. He looked down, not knowing what to do.
"Just..." Roxas started, but never finished. Axel looked up to the cloudy skies and sighed.
"It's okay." he said. "I know... it's hard to talk sometimes. Sometimes, I just like to sit next to you and just... I don't know how else to describe it, but feel you there. Even if we're not even touching." he smiled softly. "It's nice."
"I guess I'm just scared." Roxas said.
"Of what?"
"I'm not really sure." he looked at Axel, "I just... feel it. And I wish it would go away since we're not supposed..." Axel silenced him, raising a hand.
"Don't." he lowered his hand and reached out to touch Roxas' hand. They sat in silence for a while and stared out into the dusky sky. "I sometimes get scared too, and I don't know why." He finally admitted after long. Roxas blinked and looked over at him. Axel met his eyes and grinned. Roxas pulled the taller in for a hug and Axel took the opportunity to nuzzle the boy, kissing his collar bone. "Just don't... ever leave me..." he whispered into the column of his neck. Roxas smiled sadly, but didn't say anything.
