"I'm leaving. With or without you." Roxas said, looking up at Axel. The redhead frowned.
"I can't... I want to but..."
"You're scared." the blond interrupted. Axel opened his mouth to deny it, but stopped. Roxas was right. He was scared of what might happen, he was scared that the other members would catch and turn them all into dusks. He was scared that he would lose himself or Roxas forever. He was scared. "So, like I said, I'm leaving. You can't stop me."
"I... I don't want to stop you. I just... I don't know. I think that..." He was quieted by a finger on his lips.
"Don't worry about it." Roxas smiled, "I'll be fine. I have to go, I have to find my answers." Axel nodded. That's when the sky thundered, flashing pure white for a nano second. As if that had been some sort of cue, water started pouring from the everpresent clouds, drenching the redhead and the blond. They stood there, looking at each other. Roxas pulled Axel down to his level. "I'm... sorry."
"You don't mean it, how can you? You don't have a heart..."
"You know what I mean. If I had a heart, I'd be sorry." Roxas made a face. But I am sorry, and I do feel bad. I'm scared too, I feel. I feel. His eyes flickered to Axel's again and he let a faint smile grace his lips.
