The relief of finally being away from the burn of the silver was only momentary as Remus' foot was ripped apart by the knife. He screamed in sheer agony as he landed on the dirt floor and as the silver chains wrapped around his wrists and ankles to hog-tie him, the knife was lodged in one of the bones of his foot, pulling it out of the ground as Remus' foot was raised up behind him.
The pain was immense and far more than Remus could deal with. Giving in to the oblivion that had been trying to claim him for some time now, Remus slumped on the ground, blessedly unconscious and unaware of the pain any longer as the silver continued to eat into the flesh of his wrists and ankles.
