If Sirius's obvious change in demeanor was not enough to signal that he had completely thrown off the curse, the sudden jolt to Bellatrix's mind certainly was. This was beyond simply needing to reinforce the curse and she frowned as she withdrew her nails from Remus to draw her wand. Remus was, at least, too focused on his own suffering to further interfere with her work and Bellatrix was able to turn her attentions fully onto Sirius. She focused her strength and cast yet another silent imperius on her cousin. The instructions would all have to be set yet again but she knew she did not have time for that, instead just giving a silent command of You are a purist. You are witnessing the deserved torture of a half breed and you will remain calm and watch. The remainder of her instructions would have to be reinforced once they had returned home which was apparently going to happen sooner than she had intended.
Turning her attentions back to Remus, she flicked her wand, releasing him from his bindings and giving a solid push to shove him out of his chair, not caring how the knife still embedded in his foot tore through his flesh. Thin silver chains burst out of her wand, wrapping themselves around Remus's wrists and ankles, digging into his flesh and burning the skin as she tied his limbs behind his back. "Say your goodbyes to your friend," she said coldly as she moved and put her boot on the small of Remus's back, digging her heel into his ruined flesh.
