The Ministry was the scene of another deadly security breach yesterday. Michael Jones was found dead late Wednesday night in his office in the Floo Network Authority. He appeared to have been the victim of a Killing Curse. A Ministry spokesperson assured that the Ministry’s security will be revised following this new incident. “The DMLE is already hard at work reassessing our security plan. Most importantly, we offer our deepest sympathies to Mr Jones’ family. Counselling will also be offered to Mr Jones’ colleagues in the Department of Magical Transportation.” The popular wizarding band A Bludger to the Head has been accused of plagiarism. “Listen to “Imperio on the Rocks” and to our song and you’ll hear it immediately,” pleads the songwriter Emmett Jackson who filed the complaint. He assures that he has proof that he wrote his own song two years ago, long before “Imperio on the Rocks” reached the top of the charts. The members of A Bludger to the Head vehemently denied the accusation. “It is absolutely ridiculous, we never even heard of him before, or of any of his songs.” The issue will be settled in court later this summer. After a series of visits to new stadiums across Europe, the Caerphilly Catapults’ owner has announced his plans for modernizing the team’s current stadium. “We can’t afford to build a new stadium, but this is just as if we did,” he said as he unveiled a model of the renovated and expanded Quidditch arena. It’s the project of an up and coming german architect that was selected among the many propositions received. “I was impressed by his work on the Heidelberg Harriers’ new stadium and his proposition for ours was just outstanding.” Work should begin this fall. “We ask our fans to be understanding during the renovation. It will be worth all the trouble, I can assure you.” |
