Although there was still some lingering soreness in her body from the previous night's exercise with the Carrows, Bellatrix moved calmly and confidently down the hall, her wand at the ready to deal with the next Auror to come in between her and her prey. But it was just the two positioned outside Millicent's door who were left. Fleetingly, she thought that if Rodolphus was successful in his bid for Minister, she was most certainly going to have to have a word with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement about effective security, but that was not important now.
Two more killing curses flew out of her wand, each quickly finding their home in the Auror's chests as the two men slumped to the floor, although not before the second of the pair had a chance to fire off a stupefy that Bellatrix narrowly avoided. Such quick work was not her usual style - it was not nearly as satisfying as toying with her victims and watching them suffer, but there was simply no time for that.
Bellatrix stepped over one of the Auror's bodies and let herself into Millicent's office, greeting her with an oddly polite, "Good morning, Millicent." The door was locked behind her without her eyes leaving the older woman. "It was quite brave of you to issue such a challenge to the Dark Lord. Brave and so very foolish."
