She took another drink of her tea, taking the cup to the kitchen sink. They all had their reasons to be paranoid. Alice was fortunate to be a pureblood, and married to a pureblood, with how often blood status was a factor in so many attacks these days. But as an Auror... she and Frank had captured far too many Death Eaters for her to ever feel truly safe while the war continued.
Alice waited for Lily to clear the fire before she stepped into it. Floo was disorienting enough on a typical day. Being pregnant made it ten times worse. Still, she emerged as safely as always from Lily's fireplace. "You mentioned trifle?" she inquired, a slight smile playing at her lips. She had to take advantage of any brief moments of happiness that arose while their husbands were away. It would make the night more bearable.
