"Well then," Lucius said, his tone growing lighter. "We will just have to expand the door, won't we?" He gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "But honestly, you are not Lily Potter. You are Narcissa Malfoy and you are mine. All that is mine is beautiful." He gave her a gentle smile.
In his mind, Lucius ran the names through his head. "No, no, not Vega, not Lyra. They are fine name, of course, they just don't... fit." He frowned slightly in thought. He mouthed the names, frowning a bit more at some. "Antares Malfoy. Draconis Malfoy. Cepheus Malfoy." He nodded, more to himself than anything. Choosing the correct name for their son, the next heir of Malfoy, was extremely important. "Those are my top three." he said, a bit hesitantly.
As he eyes shifted to him, he looked into them, gently stroking her hair. "Scorpius." he spoke, quietly. "For a middle name, I mean. If you would like it, that is." He was quiet for a moment, looking away from her and toward the ocean. "Antares Scorpius Malfoy. Draconis Scorpius Malfoy. Cepheus Scorpius Malfoy." He was muttering quietly, eyes following the tide of the waters. "What do you think?"
His hand had drifted to her bare belly again, and his eyes slid down to it. "Do you think he can hear us yet?" His fascination for the workings of pregnancy and the development of their child had not faded. Rubbing a circle into her skin he sighed contently. "When will he start kicking?"
