First of all, thank you for responding so quickly to my patronus on Sunday evening. I have no doubt that, without yours and Fabian's interference, Millicent Bagnold would be dead. She has yet to speak to me regarding the Order, but I am more than certain that she suspects it exists and that I am responsible for it. I do not think that your safety or freedom will be in jeopardy in any case, but please be careful in the future. Apparating in the middle of a muggle street is heedless, as I'm sure you understand.
I would like you to send me the anonymous letter you received last week, if entirely possible. I do not think that is of dire importance, at least not at the moment, but I would like to see it and evaluate it for myself. I apologize that I was unable to attend the meeting you requested, but I'm afraid I have been involved in other investigations (of sorts).
I suspect that there will be retaliation for both yours and Fabian's appearance, and Bagnold having not died. Voldemort will make a statement to counter Millicent's, I am sure of it. Keep your ears open, and be ready--it could happen at any time.
Albus.
Fabian,
To being, allow me to thank you for responding so quickly to my patronus on Sunday evening. I have no doubt that, without yours and Edgar's interference, Millicent Bagnold would be dead. She has not contacted me regarding the Order as of yet, but I do not doubt that she will soon enough. I do not believe that your safety or freedom are in jeopardy, however. Hopefully she has seen that having myself and the Order on her side are an advantage rather than a nuisance.
I suspect that Voldemort will soon retaliate for yours and Edgar's appearance, as well as Millicent's having not died. It will be something big, I fear, to counter Millicent's own statement in the Daily Prophet this morning. Please be alert--it could happen at any time.
Albus.
Alice, Frank,
I have a request of either of you regarding Lyle Marchwood. He needs to be questioned, but on our terms, however unorthodox. I ask that he be stunned and brought to Hogwarts if entirely possible. Please keep your eyes on him (en route to and from work, as well as at the ministry) and take advantage of any opportunity. The floo to my office will be available for you.
Additionally, I fear that there will be retaliation for Millicent's statement, as well as the Order's participation on Sunday evening. Be alert, (or vigilant, as Moody prefers), please. I'm afraid it will be catastrophic, and that it could happen at any time.
Albus.
Please be alert and ready to move if necessary. I fear that Voldemort will not appreciate Millicent's statement in the Prophet this morning, and will want to make her regret it. It could happen at any time.
