Remus looked up at James then and felt the same horror wash over him that he'd felt upon transforming back. He could he have- He had to stop that train of thought right there or he'd throw up. Again.
"They already know," he informed them all as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his journal. Flipping it open to the right page, he began to read out loud. His voice was steady at first, as he tried to distance himself from what he was reading, but it was entirely too personal, and the more he read, the more it began to shake.
"There is no tactful way to say this when we aren't face to face with one another (and I doubt that there's a tactful way even then). I'm sure you surmised what what happened in the journals the other night would lead to after the way James, Sirius and Peter acted when I was put-off by your behaviour (the peculiar discussion of muggle tellys, for one, then stating that you were not home, and then of being non responsive to my private wards). Benjy and I"
Remus' voice cracked and he had to swallow hard in order to continue. "Benjy and I know that you're a werewolf. No, we haven't told the rest of the Order, and we won't. We do, however, want to talk to you about this, and about what happened (we presume) with the Greyback/kidnapped muggle child situation, among other things.
We understand that you will need time to recuperate after the full moon. When you are ready to talk (and without Sirius and James--please trust us), let me know."
He fell silent and closed his journal, dropping it on the coffee table, just barely missing a stray half-eaten slice of pizza that was hanging precariously over the edge.
