Fabian had only been home for a half hour when Edgar's patronus appeared. Just sitting down to eat actually, and he couldn't help but feel the slightest stab of annoyance. He loved his job, really. But it was mating season and even though the common welsh greens were a mild breed (at least in terms of giant, fire breathing lizards), territorial males were still big and angry and, well, territorial. It made doing proper work more dangerous and required much more attention to detail than was typical of a regular work day (Fabian could laugh at the thought of a regular work day).
Anyway, the point was that he was tired and he very much wanted to relax, have a glass of scotch and make some food. Perhaps not in that order. But the patronus delivered it's message and Fabian heaved a sigh, at least glad that he'd managed to get a shower in before going to this meeting. He wouldn't smell like wild dragon.
Fabian pinched out the candles left burning and apparated with a small pop. He appeared a moment later just on the other side of Edgar's wards, looking slightly put off but not necessarily angry. Even if he was hungry, Order business was Order business and the message delivered to Edgar sounded less-than-stellar.
