He'd actually been dreading this. Edgar had been debating approaching Amelia about the Order for some time. The ministry knew that there were 'vigilantes' mucking about and 'stirring up shit', but Edgar couldn't be sure if that was the entire MLE or just Bagnold's suspicions relayed to Amelia. Amelia was Bagnold's right-hand woman. He worried about her fate, being tangled up in this political warfare, but Amelia stuck to the ministry mode of right versus wrong, and Edgar didn't know how she might react if he revealed the truth of his lack of employment to her. "No," he replied to Lily, shaking his head. "I don't want to bring her into this unless it's absolutely necessary. Amelia is just... not the sort of woman who goes against the grain politically. She doesn't see the grey areas a lot of the time. She would talk to Bagnold outright, and I just think that that would make the situation... a lot more complicated than it needs to be until we have more information about where, exactly, this take-over is being instigated.
"I think you've got the right idea there, though--we just need an excuse to be in the ministry and sniff around, get a feel for anything that might be out of character in the MLE or Wilde's office. Those are our two most likely targets, no doubt about it. Alice, do you think you and Frank could get Moody involved directly there?"
