James looked up from his inspection of the owl Ed had received, furrowing his brows a little. The owl really didn't have much to it. There were no more hints there as to what they might be looking for, nothing that suggested whow exactly the Ministry had been compromised. James sighed a little, frowning, and passed the parchment back to Edgar.
"Have there been any changes in policy lately? Things that people not in the Ministry daily wouldn't hear about?" James asked curiously, directing the question at Alice. He hoped it wasn't the MLE. The MLE under control of Voldemort would be a huge blow, and the only worse possibility, really, would be Voldemort in charge of the whole Ministry.
He scratched his nose and looked around at the others. "It doesn't really feel like enough, though, to just wait and see. If there's something going down, we should try to put an end to it now. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there's a lot we can do that wouldn't push moral boundaries to keep the Order secret. I mean, it's not like we can just send someone to question Ministry officials. We need more information."
