Fabian looked over James's shoulder at the letter. Ed was right, it wasn't much. It was hardly anything. But for now he'd do as the others were and focus more on the message itself. If they were deciding it was a legitimate threat or warning, then he might as well treat it like one.
"I dunno. He's insane, but I don't think he's spastic, Lily. There are a lot of things wrong with his thinking and his goals, but he has to be a strategist or else he wouldn't have gotten as far as he has. I don't think it has to the Minister he has to convince. What about Crouch? He heads the DMLE now doesn't he? It could be any department head, really. Anyone with power. And it seems like it'd be a more subtle way of doing it. So let Bagnold get the big chair. What then? He could just as easily, more easily maybe, undermine the entire Ministry from another department, assassinate the Minister and throw the whole the entire country into chaos without ever showing his face."
Fabian sighed and sprawled possessively on a chair, for once looking remotely troubled. "There's just so many possibilities, I guess. And there's not enough of us to be able to cover them all."
