Sirius would usually make some kind of ridiculous, outrageous comment at that, but this time he was merely going to comment on how he didn't. He honestly didn't know how much Alecto knew, or how much her bastard of a brother knew, but he didn't see the harm in poking around a little. If she really didn't know anything, then at the very least she'd tell him he was pathetic for getting attacked, he'd take the dittany, and they'd go about their daily business as usual.
"You know, usually I'd make a comment about 'doing business together'," he said, watching her closely. "And then probably try to get in your knickers," he added, unable to help himself - at least that part of him was back to normal. "But I'm a bit under the weather, you see." He didn't want to admit to being hurt, per se, knowing it was a potentially dangerous thing to do, but he was curious to see her reaction.
