Where: Rodolphus and Bellatrix's home in Norfolk
What: Rodolphus has an offer for Regulus

Young Regulus had shown great promise, as an heir, as a Death Eater, and through his excellent work as an intern at the Ministry. Rodolphus felt that a reward was more than fair, especially for a young man laden down with his blood-traitor brother's abandoned responsibility. Aunt Walburga was a handful, at best--Orion's death and Sirius' disownment had certainly put several new layers of expectation on Regulus young life. He had not been groomed to be the heir. He had not been prepared to govern a house and head a family that would, did he not marry and have a son, die out.
Rodolphus understood the pressure, though he had had his entire life to comes with grips with it. His father still pressed him to have a son, constantly. There was a lineage to maintain. The culture and nobility of his ancestors were at stake. The Lestranges were an important family indeed--pureblood royalty with all the bells and whistles. But the Blacks... the Blacks were something else entirely. Regulus still had several years to consider his future in marriage and child rearing, and with any luck, Aunt Walburga would pass away sooner rather than later. Rodolphus did not want to burden Regulus with more expectations of his name and blood. Many were unspoken and understood regardless. Rodolphus merely wanted to show his faith in Regulus' capabilities, first as a man, and second as an heir. He wanted to help instill the confidence Regulus needed to do what needed to be done.
Two o'clock found Rodolphus waiting in the sitting room off of the foyer, reading the Daily Prophet with concentration, eyebrows furrowed. He'd sent a house elf to fetch tea some time before, and minus Regulus' commitment, had finished his final cabinet outline that morning. It still seemed surreal that he would be Minister for Magic before the week was out; that he would have control of the government, ready to mold and reshape it to The Dark Lord's approval. As he had told his fellow Death Eaters, it was indeed the dawn of a new era.
