Gabrielle grinned. At times, their beauty and their ability to attract was either a great blessing or a great curse. “I wouldn’t give it up for anything,” Gabrielle replied softly.
The finality of Fleur’s statement was like another slap. Gabrielle was angry and hurt. Her sister hadn’t even addressed what she had admitted. Why hadn’t she? Did she not care? Gabrielle suffered in pained silence.
Gabrielle wasn’t expecting that answer. She had expected an excuse from her sister about how she had lost control but it didn’t really mean anything or something of the like. Unsure how to react, Gabrielle sat in silence for a moment. “Why did you not tell me of ‘er in your letters?” Drawing a breath through her nose, she could smell Lavender’s scent on the bed. She looked at her sister with soft eyes, the black fading somewhat.
Liking how her sister responded, Gabrielle was aware that Fleur was half naked beneath her. Not that she minded. Gently, Gabrielle pressed her lips to the soft curve of her sister’s neck in a lingering, gentle, loving kiss.
“I do worry,” Gabrielle admitted. “Quelle un peu soeur est-ce que je serais si je ne faisais pas?” What kind of sister would I be if I did not?
“Do you remember the first time we did zhis?” Gabrielle purred. Her sister had come to her when she was a few years younger. “Why did you?” she asked softly as she continued to keep Fleur pinned.
