Gabrielle pouted. She expected a more astute insight from her sister about Pansy Parkinson. “Why do you thing zhat she would be fun zhen?” she asked, still pouting. She narrowed her eyes at her sister. “Zhere must be some reason?”
“We do get along.” She tried to think back to how Pansy acted towards her. Millicent seemed jealous of any attention Pansy paid to her, but she wasn’t sure that the Slytherin Queen Bee would be interested. It was hard though; Gabrielle let people pay attention to her, not vice versa.
“If you thin zhat she would be fun, maybe we should go see her together?” Gabrielle had a mischievous glint in her eyes. She and her sister had never shared a lover. Perhaps that should change…
Gabrielle wrinkled her nose. “A Hufflepuff? Non, non, zhe does not sound like my type,” she laughed.
Noticing her sister’s gaze, Gabrielle did not shy away from it. Quite the contrary. Shifting, she let her dress ride even higher, giving Fleur a peek at her white silk and lace lingerie.
“He is cute, in a flabbergasted way,” Gabrielle rebutted. “Plus, you said zhat zee Weasley boys were well endowed.”
Gabrielle let the comment about Parvati Patil pass. Fleur was so transparent it was pathetic. Transparent to Gabrielle anyways…
“It is boring with out you,” Gabrielle sighed dramatically. “Zhere are many who think zhat since you are gone zhey can take zhere chance to bed me. Very few have been successful.” She laughed.
Standing, she went and refilled her wine glass. Moving over to stand behind Fleur, she watched her picking out clothes. “Going to where something nice for me?” she asked sweetly, though the hint was that her previous outfit had not met Gabrielle’s high standards.
“Fleur?” Gabrielle asked, pausing for a long time afterwards. “Why are you not seeing a man?” Her gaze was intense on her sister’s back. “Mother has freed your charm. You could have a beautiful daughter by now.” She sighed dreamily. “Memmae would love that so much.”
Gabrielle turned somber. “She is getting old, Fleur. Do you not want her to see zhat she has passed her blood on before she dies?”
