Gabrielle kept grinning. “Well, if ‘is ‘eart is so weak zhen it is better to learn zhat now.” She giggled, the sound a strange mix of girlishness and almost-otherworldly sexuality. “Zhough, if ‘ee is very good, I may let him play. I was sure to make sure my charms were in place.” Gabrielle was magically protected against pregnancy, a protection she was still somewhat bitter about, but one of the very few demands their mother had placed on them. She knew Fleur had the same protections when she was in school.
Sighing at Fleur’s admission, Gabrielle sat in passive aggressive silence. The tension between them was increasing and her body language had become a little more closed then before. She decided not to respond yet, curious to see if Fleur would tell her more.
“Oh? Do tell,” Gabrielle said with a sweet smile. Despite her annoyance, Gabrielle did truly enjoy her sister’s observations about who she might find interesting and why. Though, likely because of the tension and all the feelings it brought, Gabrielle was not going to let her off the hook without Fleur telling her quite a bit about at least one or two of the girls.
